Below is the format of our Puppy Reservation Deposit Agreement, which will be executed by you as Buyer. If you have decided a Giant Schnauzer is the right breed for you and/or your family, and that you are committed to the time and financial responsibility of this breed, please complete the Puppy Adoption Deposit Agreement and send it to my email at blcollette@gmail.com. We do not accept deposits until you have been approved and the puppies have been born. When the puppies have been born, I will contact you in the order Agreements have been received to obtain the deposit.

This Agreement dated effective __________________, 2026, is between Oregon Giant Schnauzers, LLC (“Breeder”) and ________________________________ (“Buyer”). Breeder warrants and agrees that it is the lawful owner of this puppy and solely responsible for entering into this Agreement with the Buyer.
Deposit Terms. Buyer agrees to pay a Three Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($300.00) non-refundable deposit towards the purchase of a Giant Schnauzer puppy from Breeder. All payments under this Agreement shall be made in US dollars and paid to Breeder via CASH or VENMO. This Agreement shall be valid only at such time as the Buyer’s Deposit has been presented and clears the Breeder’s bank.
Upon receipt of the Deposit, Breeder agrees to hold the puppy for Buyer until it has been weaned and is ready for pick up at eight (8) weeks of age. Buyer agrees that Breeder cannot control litter sizes and that the wait time for puppies can be longer than expected.
The Deposit shall be applied to a Giant Schnauzer puppy from a future litter to be born on or about _______________________ (estimated whelping date) or shall be applied to a Giant Schnauzer puppy that was born on _______________________ (puppy already whelped).
The Deposit gives Buyer a “pick” place but does not guarantee a puppy or that Buyer’s preferences will be available when it is Buyer’s turn to pick. Pick places are given on a first-come, first served basis and Buyer’s place in line is not negotiable. Breeder cannot and does not guarantee any specific qualities of the puppy when an adult.
Non-Refundable Deposit. Buyer acknowledges that the Deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances including, but not limited to, if Buyer decides they do not want or is no longer able to take the puppy. If a puppy that meets Buyer’s identified preferences is not available when it is Buyer’s turn to pick a puppy from the selected litter, Buyer may elect to have the Deposit transferred to the next litter.
Refund at Breeder’s Discretion. If Buyer pays the Deposit and later decides they do not want the puppy for any reason, Breeder is not required to refund the Deposit. If, however, Breeder can sell the puppy to another buyer within a reasonable amount of time after Buyer notifies Breeder of his/her decision not to adopt the puppy, Breeder may (in its sole discretion) refund the Deposit to Buyer.
Final Purchase Price and Agreement. The final purchase price of an Oregon Giant Schnauzer puppy is Two Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($2,850.00). The foregoing purchase price does not include any delivery or shipping charges. Breeder and Buyer agree that (a) the $300 Deposit shall be applied to the final purchase price of the puppy, (b) a Puppy Purchase Agreement and Bill of Sale shall be completed and signed, and (c) the remaining balance of the final purchase price shall be paid in full before the puppy is shipped and/or ownership is transferred from Breeder to Buyer.
Airline Transport. Buyer acknowledges and agrees that they shall pay in advance to the Breeder an additional flat fee of $200.00 for Breeder to prepare and transport your puppy to the airport. Breeder will supply a bag of puppy food that your pup has been eating, a water dish, a blanket, and a toy for making puppy comfortable during transport. Buyer shall also pay in advance to the Breeder the purchase price of an Airline Approved Transport Dog Carrier, at the then current cost charged by either PetSmart or Petco, which Breeder will obtain prior to shipping.
Buyer shall pay directly to their chosen Airline, the requested cost to transport/ship your puppy via Airline. BUYER MUST COORDINATE WITH BREEDER THE DATE AND TIME OF FLIGHT PRIOR TO TICKET PURCHASE. Buyer to provide to Breeder the chosen Airline and destination Airport for puppy’s new home; your puppy will be flying out of the Redmond, Oregon airport.Buyer shall provide Breeder with a complete written travel itinerary for their puppy’s first travel experience.
Governing Law. This Agreement, and all matters arising out of or relating to this Agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, and the Buyer agrees to jurisdiction solely in Deschutes County, Oregon with regard to disputes. If a dispute arises relating to this Agreement, the parties agree first to try in good faith to settle the dispute by mediation before resorting to arbitration, litigation or some other dispute resolution procedure.
